LLG Properties is a totally independent privately-owned entity that invests in commercial and industrial property throughout South Africa . It is owned by the Hunter Family and run by Lance Hunter who has been involved in the commercial property sector since 1989.
We have done over R 3 billion of property acquisitions over the past 20 years . The focus of our investments has always been single tenanted properties with longer leases . This has included investment acquisitions as well as many sale and lease back transactions with corporate tenants.
One of our main strengths is understanding the needs of our corporate tenants and being able to talk their language when it comes to accounting and tax . We also excel when balancing those issues with security of tenure and maximising sales values for sale and lease back transactions.
We invest through 3 different portfolios as follows:
1. Family Trust – Usually industrial properties with lower values
2. Partnerships – We assist other property entrepreneurs in acquiring properties that fit our investment profile.
3. Empowerment Trust – We have recently set up a partnership with the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation (https://www.cyrilramaphosafoundation.org/) and other black professionals to facilitate a very high level of empowerment credentials for the benefit of our corporate tenants.
